A Favour
2013
Director: James Bradley
Found: Virgin Media Shorts
Summary: An encounter in a car park questions the assumptions of characters and audience alike.
Why I chose this film: I chose this film because I like the message it sends out that you should not judge people and it challenges stereotypes.
Narrative
- The structure of this narrative is linear because it shows the story in a chronological order to shock the audience as they see the events unfold at the same time as the characters. It also leaves the audience wanting to find out what happens next, so it could be called linear narrative without closure as they don't find out if the man gets in trouble for what has happened.
- It could also be called a multi-strand narrative as at the beggining it shows the story of two different families.
