Animatics ~ with voiceover

  1. Excellent.

Shot two - a track might be better than the Pan as you would get a better sense of someone watching her, especially if you have gravestones revealing her character as the character walks.

Shot 5 - good opportunity for a match on action as she puts flowers down.

11, 12 etc SRS sequence - not breaking the 180 degree rule.

Shot 18 - made me laugh too!!

For the interview scene, I think you need to do quite a lot of preparatory and practice work. Experiment with different lighting and do a dummy run (not dress rehearsal) to practice the lighting for this scene and also the shots - SRS is complex to pull off well - so put the sequence together as a practice to start - be aware of the 180 degree rule and vary your reaction shots - dont always have same shot distance - mix it up especially go closer when she is lying perhaps? My point is - practice it first as this will take a long time to get right.

  2. There are alot of tears - how will you get your actor to cry on demand - could be a post about making actors cry? Must be a you tube clip somewhere.

  3. solicitors notebook - research this - what might it look like to be convincing?

There are also alot of different interior locations in this - will you use different locations - they must look different and not as if its all filmed in same place on same day - even if the same room - it will be different because these events have taken pl,ace over a long period of time - day, night, winter , summer etc etc. The shots mustn't look as if they have all been filmed in Oct 2013. It must be convincing as having taken place over a period of time. This last point is very important and adds an additional challenge but it will be fun to think this through!

The form of the prop is also important - i might be able to help you with this in giving it to admin to type up, but you need to do your research into what it will look like.

Good in mid 60s you show that you have considered the passage of time - brilliant!!

I want a full risk assessment of the slight fall on the stairs - OK

Well done guys - a really good piece of work. There is alot to plan re locations, costume, seasons, characters, crying, etc etc. But still, fantastic animatic. This is A* territory!!
